Guro Heather Wall

Heather began with Sensei Wall in 2005.  She is a full time instructor at the Paradise Valley School of Karate.  She has been an active competitor and is involved in preparing our students for competing.  Mrs. Wall has been a National and World Champion in competition and Points in both the USKK and the USKA from 2009-2016.  Heather has been the recipient of the USKA All American award, was inducted into the USKK Bushido Society in 2015, and the USKA Hall of Fame in the same year.  She is currently the Vice President of the Hall of Fame.  She was honored to receive the Double Bladed Axe from Hanshi Phillip Koeppel in 2010, his personal insignia.  She is active in women's self defense as she teaches "Girls on Guard" through her organization Moxie Up.  She also shares her expertise in shooting as an NRA certified pistol instructor.    She is currently the rank of Godan (5th Degree) in Matsumura Seito Shorin Ryu under Hanshi Phillip Koeppel and received the rank of Mataas Na Guro in Pekiti Tirsia Kali through the Pekiti Tirsia Kali World Kali Association and Tuhon Apolo Ladra in 2022.  She actively trains and teaches Pekiti Tirsia Kali at PV Karate 3 times a week.
